Government Schemes For Girls

Indian government always launch many Schemes for girls. The biggest reason for this which girls low of the poverty line and take benefits of Government Schemes for Girls. The government launched its Scheme by two types by a center and states.

The Scheme aims to improve the level of girls’ educations, prevent female feticide, promote the birth of daughters, and empower women. Apart from this, the aim of the scheme is not a get daughter married before the age of 18 years.

Kanyashree Prakalp Yojana

Kanyashree Prakalp Yojana was launched in the year 2013, in in this scheme till 2017, Rs 7588.90 crore was given and 7237.28 crore was spent. Let us know that more that 57 lakh people have applied in this scheme, in which more than 56 lakh people got the benefit of this scheme.

Tell that only the girls get the benefit of this scheme. Socially and economically weaker families get benefits under the scheme, Under the scheme girls aged between 13 and 18 are given a lump sum of 25000 along with one thousand rupees as annual scholarship.

To avail of this scheme your residence certificate, all school certificates, age proof, income certificate, Aadhaar card, bank details will have to be given.

Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana

Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana was launched by Central Government, is a small deposit scheme of the Central government of India meant exclusively for a girl child, and is launched as a part of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Campaign. The scheme is meant to meet the education and marriage expenses of a girl child.

At present, the interest of Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana is 7.6% per annum. in this scheme, the interest rate remains at the time of opening the account. At the same rate, You get interested in your entire investment. As of May, 2020 more than 16 million accounts have been opened under Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana.

A minimum of Rs 250 and a maximum of Rs 1.50 lakh can be deposited in a financial year under Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana. A parent can open open an accounts in the name of maximum 2 daughters.

This account can be opened before the girl child is 10 year old. The amount has to be deposited in the account for the initial 14 years. the scheme matures after 21 years

The benefits of investment are higher then all schemes. you can save for higher education and marriage of the girls child. The amount receive on maturity is not taxed

You can open the account go to the post office or public sector banks, Where this facility is waiting for you, Sukanya Samriddhi Yojana accounts are being opened in private banks.

Balika Samridhi Yojana

Balika Samridhi Yojana was introduced by the Indian Government in 1997 under the policies for Women and Child Development to facilitate the girl child. It is widely known as a key initiative to support the birth and education of the girl child.

To avail of this scheme your residence certificate, all school certificates, age proof, income certificate, Aadhaar card, bank details will have to be given.

Mukhyamantri Laadli Yojana

Mukhyamantri Laxmi Ladli Yojana scheme for families living below the poverty line is no less then a boon. The scheme which was to save money for the birth of the child to her education and even her marriage, was formally launched on last 3 month. Girls born after 15 November 2010 will get the benefit of this scheme

Mazi Kanya Bhagyashree Scheme

Under the Mazi Kanya Bhagyashree initiative, Government of Maharashtra provides financial incentives to families to retain girl children, educate them prevent child marriage and encourage her economic and social independence. Parents of the girl child are awarded staggered financial incentives for this. At age of 18, provided the girl is not married by then, she is provided 1 Lakh rupees for Skill Development and Higher Education.

Nanda Devi Kanya Yojana

The Uttarakhand government has launched a special scheme for girls of the state Nanda Devi Kanya Yojana. In this scheme, financial assistance will be given to the girl child of poor family. Gender discrimination in the country has increased over time. Even today, when a girl is born at some place, they are killed. Keeping these things in mind, the state government will now give money from the birth of the girl to her marriage through this new scheme, so that they can get the best education and can stand on their feet.
